The Performative version of "Alpha Channel II", took place in September 2023 as a part of “The Sky Itself II” - a performance evening co-created with Jivan Van Der Ende and Hammed Dehqan hosted by Need Company space.

Synopsis:

The director infiltrates “Yisrael Beyteinu”, a far right party in Israel, during the election campaigns. She tells the story of contemporary Israeli propaganda, from a marginal point of view. By re-editing the propagandists' video-materials with hers, she creates a critical contemplation about mass fantasies and its connection to political power and control.

How rooted are fiction making and role-play in the strategies of Israeli right-wing politics? In which manner do images that are perceive as obscure can form a political agenda, and what is the thin line between the radical and the populist?
